Public digital humanities

Designed as an interdisciplinary approach to digital work, this course is built on a “public, first” (Sheila Brennan) approach to DH. The course proceeds from the proliferation of digital tools and digitized sources, and the increasing necessity that even under resourced cultural heritage organizations engage with this material. Students completed intensive tool and skill workshops and partnered with organizations across the South on public facing projects.
